Arthur L. Rolston, Of Counsel

Arthur L. Rolston focuses his practice in the area of commercial law, with particular emphasis on business and insolvency matters. Mr. Rolston’s experience includes representing a major national wholesaler of pharmaceutical products, representing numerous manufacturers and their funding sources, acting as lead counsel for both creditors and debtors in complex reorganization proceedings, and serving as transaction counsel in complex business matters.

He has lectured and published on business and insolvency issues for a variety of credit and equipment leasing organizations. He has received an AV rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Directory.

Representative Matters

  • Represented seller in the sale of assets of a manufacturing company to a “Fortune 500” company for amount in excess of $13 million.
  • Act as counsel for Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors in numerous insolvency matters, including a chain of five Southern California hospitals, and a publicly traded manufacturer of hair care and personal hygiene products (successfully reorganized with a 100% dividend paid to unsecured creditors within 18 months of plan confirmation).
  • Represent owner of a large parcel of undeveloped property in the Santa Monica Mountains in a complex option arrangement.
